DJ…Scr-Scra-Scratching on air?
The Hewlett-Packard DJammer is a cool tool for the mobile DJ/musician that combines a MP3 player with a DJs tools, all in the palm of your hand.
One problem: the device hasn’t been released or is unavailable to the public.
Researchers at HP, at one point, believed the DJammer would be as revolutionary as the first
electric guitar, but since they released first glimpses at the product in 2005, no progress on the development has been mentioned.
According to information on the model, users can scratch on thin air and wirelessly produce sounds that mimic vinyl scratching, just like real DJs.
The device is also linked to a mobile MP3 library, which allows a user to mix tracks in real-time, just like in a DJ booth-minus all the equipment. Its Wi-Fi capablities allow users to do everything with no wires attached.
The device sounds unbelievable..however…
I searched the Internet far and wide to find information on how to purchase the item or a blurb
about the release of the product-none found.
Weird.. but this really could revolutionize the DJ booth.
